Når du kommer vannveien kan du fortøye med båt rett under Mikaelshulen. 

The cave is said to have been equipped with forhall, ship, choir and altar, and in Catholic times the cave was consecrated to the archangel Michael. There were also mass events held after Catholic times. It was also an important place for pilgrims.
